Cleaning
Shell and tube heat exchanges are cleaned in place or off site, using the latest technology in high pressure washing and cleaning agents.
Extraction
The CONEX bundle extractors pull/push bundles utilizing the heat exchanger shell as the anchor point, eliminating stresses to foundations and permanent anchoring systems. Also, our processes assure the protection and mechanical integrity of the tube bundle. The CONEX procedures are extraordinarily safe, efficient and reliable. Our equipment versatility and maneuverability provide opportunity for extractions to be made based on demands required in the critical path. We meet schedules, minimize down-time, and improve productivity.
Inspection, Welding and Machining
Mechanical repairs are made by highly qualified craftsmen. Thorough inspections are executed in accordance with plant engineering specifications prior to any repairs. Crack repairs, weld metal build-up for corroded or eroded areas, flush patching, nozzle replacement or modifications, remachining of flange surfaces, anode replacement, and piping tie-ins are done on or off site as needed. Comprehensive pressure testing is performed to verify mechanical integrity.
